A faithful servant of Christ, Pastor John MacArthur of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California—after 56 years of faithful ministry—has entered into the presence of the Lord on July 14, 2025, shortly after 6 p.m. PT (July 15, 2025, around 6:30 a.m. IST) following a bout with pneumonia.
He preached over 3,000 sermons, authored nearly 400 books, founded Grace to You, and led The Master’s University and Seminary, all while standing firm in his convictions—even resisting COVID lockdowns.
Let his unwavering faith challenge us: let us live godly, stand firm, and excel in the work of the Lord.
